Inspiring people to succeed.

Dan-Jay started an Apprenticeship with Paragon Skills as he wanted to achieve his Level 3 in Hairdressing and realise his dream of opening up his own salon. His thirst for learning and hard work not only gained him new cutting and colouring techniques, but also his maths and English qualifications – something he wasn’t sure he could do at the outset.

Dan-Jay admitted that he wasn’t 100% comfortable with studying for his maths and English qualifications again, but his Paragon Skills’ tutor Adele helped and guided him through the exams.

“Not only do I have a new passion for the industry, but I have realised my dream of opening up my own salon. I would fully recommend Apprenticeships – you get to learn and experience what is like first-hand to work in a salon, gain qualifications and confidence.”

DAN-JAY'S SALON

In addition to full support from his tutors at Paragon Skills to pass his GCSEs and learn new skills with his Hairdressing Apprenticeship, Dan-Jay found the Paragon Skills Apprenticeship so helpful to progress in his career, that he is now looking to progress into barbering and has opened his first salon!

Being the manager of a salon I have a hairdressing apprentice who works for me and she is studying her Level 2 Hairdressing with Paragon Skills. As an employer I could not recommend taking on an Apprentice more. I believe due to her using a vocational route she has a much more mature attitude and committed to completing the course professionally and to the best of her ability. Modern Apprenticeships are a hundred miles ahead of college student courses.
