Our training, your way

Anthony Manundo (38) moved to the UK with his wife in 2008 where he had previously worked for the government.  After their relocation, he secured a job as a kitchen assistant at Windsor Court Care Home. Anthony soon realized his passion for catering and began to explore how he could further his career in the sector.

Through searching online, Anthony contacted Paragon Skills regarding training for his dream job and was offered a role as an Apprentice Commis Chef at Beritaz Care, a residential care home in Bournemouth, Dorset.  Within two years Anthony qualified to Level 3 in Hospitality and Leadership and was quickly promoted to Chef.

“I love working in catering, I have a real passion for it and feedback from our customers is amazing, a big boost for my self-confidence!  My career goal is to become a Head Chef or Catering Manager in the not too distant future.”

“Some of the people around me didn’t have faith that I would complete my diploma. With my strength and fantastic support from the Paragon team I was able to prove them wrong”
