What Paragon Skills colleagues have to say…

What I love mostly about working for Paragon, is the appreciation and team work that drives my motivation, ambition and confidence to fulfil my role effectively. I have progressed to a new role recently after taking the next in my career. I really enjoy learning and seeing how far I can push myself by exploring what I know and have retained over the years of training myself.

Paragon is a unique organisation to work for, I have a sense of purpose working here and have always felt respected and welcomed by all colleagues, historic and new.

Sam Brock, Skills Tutor

I started Paragon Skills in January and I love that my role combines elements from my backgrounds in education and recruitment. Each day is different, and I’ve developed the ability to build rapport with learners and employers to help make the right placements. From day one I’ve felt supported from all my colleagues across the company.

Emily Blackburn, Placement Consultant

I started at Paragon Skills in February 2017 as a Personal Tutor delivering health & social care. I was given the chance to develop into a quality role and March 2019 I took on the role of Learning and Quality Improvement Coach. This role enabled me to develop on my existing skillset and gave me a clear path to the role of Sector Specialist, which I started in July 2019. After six months in this role, developing my skillset even further, I took on the role of Operations Manager and currently lead a team of 13 Personal Tutors. Paragon Skills have given me lots of opportunities to develop for which I am very grateful and I am excited to see what the future holds.

Clair Rees, Operations Manager

Paragon is very learner centred and our aim is to create an outstanding learning experience for our learners, I feel that working for Paragon is a supportive, working environment that can help each colleague to achieve their goals. This is my 5th year working for Paragon, since being at Paragon I have completed my TAQA IQA award as well as receiving regular CPD appraisals. I am treated with respect, given daily encouragement, I feel respected and valued for what I bring to the company.
