The Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Standard is at Level 2, This is the current entry-level for an accounting apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is a perfect match for someone without any accountancy or bookkeeping knowledge.
Who is the accounts/finance assistant apprenticeship suitable for?
On this apprenticeship, you will learn the building blocks of the modern accountant. This course will help you grasp the fundamentals of bookkeeping, and further help you develop those vital skills and behaviours to enable you to put your knowledge into action.

What will you learn on the apprenticeship?
This apprenticeship consists of the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required by someone in an Accounts/Finance Assistant role to develop the required finance skills and enhance professional status.
The professional qualification, Level 2 AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting, will also be undertaken.
