
Who is this apprenticeship suitable for?
Hospitality supervisors work across a wide variety of businesses including bars, restaurants, cafés, conference centres, banqueting venues, hotels and contract caterers. They provide vital support to management teams and are capable of independently supervising hospitality services and running shifts.
They typically work under pressure delivering fantastic customer service and motivating a team is essential to their role. The majority of supervisors’ skills and knowledge are the same but supervisors may specialise in specific functions or work across a variety of functions which reflects the multi-functional nature of the industry.
Roles that this apprenticeship would be suitable for are Food & beverages supervisor, Bar supervisor, Housekeeping supervisor, Concierge supervisor, Front office supervisor, Events supervisor and Hospitality outlet supervisor.

What will you learn on the apprenticeship?
The Hospitality Supervisor Level 3 apprenticeship allows you to gain technical knowledge and real practical experience while being paid to do so. In addition to developing your hospitality skills, you will start to develop skills to manage projects and build effective relationships with your team.
Your studies will explore the essentials of working in hospitality to equip you with the tools you need to thrive in the business, as well as enabling you to select from a variety of specialist supervisory areas. You will learn key supervisor skills for the hospitality sector as well as selecting from a number of specialisms, from food and beverage, bar or front office to housekeeping, concierge and events.
