Caroola Group celebrates £1 Million milestone in levy gifting, boosting 26 care and childcare businesses and empowering apprenticeships
In partnership with Paragon Skills, Caroola Group have used their unused levy to sponsor 26 different businesses within the care and childcare sectors with £1 million to support apprenticeship training to upskill and train their staff.
Caroola Group, formerly Optionis Group, is a prominent professional services provider specialising in accountancy, tax, and payroll solutions for the UK’s self-employed community. Since its establishment in May 2017, Caroola Group has been at the forefront of apprenticeship initiatives in close collaboration with Paragon Skills. Originally establishing itself as a leader in apprenticeship delivery, with over 300 apprentices annually and substantial levy fund investment, they now play a dynamic role in the professional services sector. Recently, they’ve invested in upskilling their team through the launch of a dedicated Apprenticeship Academy.
Caroola Group not only prioritises training and development for their colleagues but also collaborates with Paragon Skills to invest and allocate unspent levy funds, offering crucial support to smaller businesses. Their commitment extends to gifting unspent apprenticeship levy funds to support care and childcare sectors through the levy transfer service. As strong advocates of apprenticeships, Caroola Group sponsors these sectors, facilitating staff development and upskilling through apprenticeship training.
Recognising the significance of these vital sectors, Caroola Group contributes to bridging the industry’s skills gaps. They invest not only in their own employees but also indirectly support SME employees by gifting unspent levy funds.
Caroola Group’s donation embodies the collaborative spirit and support within the care and childcare sectors, showcasing collective efforts to empower professionals and enhance the lives of those they care for. We commend Caroola Group for their generosity and unwavering commitment to creating a lasting impact, and eagerly anticipate the positive outcomes of their investment in the future.
Caroola Group’s proactive approach in using unspent levy funds to benefit sectors beyond their own sets a remarkable example. By championing apprenticeships, the company not only invests in its own future but also contributes to the growth and development of other industries.
Together, let’s continue to empower through apprenticeships and strive for a brighter future.
