Caroola Group recognised as a Top 15 UK apprenticeship employer 2024
Paragon Skills is proud to celebrate one of our exceptional employers, Caroola Group as they are recognised by the Department of Education as a Top 15 Apprenticeship Employer 2024.
Warrington-based umbrella and accountancy firm, Caroola Group, has secured a spot among the top 15 Apprenticeship Employers in the UK. The Department for Education’s ‘Top 100’ list, which evaluates factors like new apprenticeships, diversity in recruitment, and pass rates, received applications from over 850 businesses across England. Caroola climbed from 50th place in 2023 to an impressive 13th position. Through its ‘Caroola Academy,’ the company supports more than 60 apprentices in various fields, including Accountancy, IT, Marketing, HR, Learning and Development, Digital Design, Payroll, and Business Administration.
Andy Ross, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Caroola Group said: “Investing in young people and professionals is essential. Currently, 20% of our employees are studying qualifications through our Caroola Academy, and they are the driving force behind our business. Since its introduction in 2023, the academy has allowed us to significantly expand our talent pool and nurture our team by supporting their career development and leveraging their skills for collective growth.”
Since 2017, Caroola has taken on 650+ apprentices and invested over £6.3 million in their training and development. Caroola collaborates with multiple training providers to implement its apprenticeship programs, notably including Paragon Skills, with whom Caroola has maintained a successful partnership for over six years.

Caroola Group have recently celebrated a £1 Million milestone in levy gifting. In partnership with Paragon Skills, Caroola Group have used their unused levy to sponsor 26 different businesses within the care and childcare sectors with £1 million to support apprenticeship training to upskill and train their staff.
