I’ve definitely really enjoyed doing the apprenticeship. It’s helped loads with my confidence since starting, and I now have the confidence to go on to do my Level 4.
Abi’s thoughts on her apprenticeship
Abi explained that her confidence has improved greatly since beginning her apprenticeship; she is now comfortable working on her own with clients, joining team meetings and speaking with parents, doctors and social workers with ease. She felt well-supported by her personal tutor throughout her apprenticeship, meeting with her tutor for regular calls to review progress and ask questions. Abi knew that if she had any problems or questions outside of these calls, she was able to contact her tutor who could offer support and guidance. Abi expressed that for anyone wanting to progress in the care sector or begin a career in care, she would highly recommend an apprenticeship.
