Our commitment to responsible business practices extends to supporting local communities and collaborating with schools to nurture early career talent. Acacium Group firmly believes in investing in learning and development opportunities, such as apprenticeships, to enhance the skillset of our workforce.
Acacium Group is deeply invested in learning and development, with a dedicated and passionate team of learning and development experts who deliver a variety of learning and development initiatives throughout the business, such as development workshops to all employees as well as our apprenticeship process, a large number of e-learning courses and manager fundamentals training to name a few.
Delivering a bespoke apprenticeship solution
Acacium Group wholeheartedly champion apprenticeships through our training initiatives. We engage dedicated individuals across our organisation, working closely with training providers and tutors to provide comprehensive support. We ensure that our graduates are celebrated for their achievements through an annual graduation ceremony hosted by our CEO, Mike Barnard, which shows our commitment and investment in our learners.
We actively encourage employees across the business to reach out if there is a particular apprenticeship that they are interested in. Our diverse departments offer leadership and management courses, including the Paragon Skills Coaching Apprenticeship, Operational Management, and Team Leader programmes. Learners are also pursuing apprenticeships in Customer Service, Project Management, and Data & AI.
Throughout their apprenticeships, we regularly check in with learners, emphasizing our role as a support system. Learners can confidently reach out with queries. We also meet monthly with Paragon Skills to review progress and address feedback, ensuring all learners stay on track.
We value our strong working relationship with Paragon Skills. Their prompt responsiveness and transparent communication, especially from the Client Relationship Manager, are appreciated. The majority of our learners are studying through Paragon Skills due to our robust working relationship with them—we trust them to provide an excellent apprenticeship experience. We’ve witnessed several graduates thrive in their careers at Acacium Group after completing apprenticeships. . For example, one Paragon Skills graduate started as a Customer Service apprentice and now holds a permanent office administrator position. We’re confident they’ll continue advancing within Acacium Group.
We are thrilled to share that over the past 6 months, the pass rate for learners engaged in an apprenticeship with Acacium Group has been 100% with 1 in 3 learners achieving a distinction grade.
