Business Administration apprenticeship at The Gym Group

Brittany Ward is currently employed by The Gym Group which is a part of the Spie UK Group at their office in Cirencester, as a contractor co-ordinator. She is currently on a gap year from her law degree and wanted to complete a qualification while still working and gaining experience. She started her Business Administration Intermediate Level 2 apprenticeship with Paragon Skills in Jan 2018.

This opportunity was presented to Brittany through the Trios dedicated apprenticeship scheme that we work in partnership to deliver.

Brittany chose this apprenticeship to enhance her business administration skills, and she already sees the benefits of this in her role. Brittany was particularly interested in learning more about “Exploring Social Media” and “Developing a Presentation”, both of which she will be utilising in her future career plans and are key components of the Business Administration apprenticeship.

During the training, Brittany learnt vital skills around excel such as the V-Look Ups, and IF formulas, and she was quickly able to teach these new skills to colleagues within her team, helping to save hours of time in their reporting processes and benefiting the business as a whole.
