Elmfield Care is a small, focused care group providing the highest standards of residential, dementia and respite care, together with first-class hospitality, in purpose-built, luxury care homes. Elmfield Care was established in 2020 and based in the South West, with a strong ethos of making the homes the best we can. We have 3 award-winning homes, all purpose-built for care, in Salisbury, Chippenham and Lydney.

We take pride in our outstanding levels of care and service. Elmfield Care have a strong hiring and training ethos which creates professional, empathetic and confident Team members across various disciplines to look after both residents and fellow Team members.

Elmfield Care aim to provide a pathway for individuals with no prior experience in a care role to acquire qualifications that pave the way for progression to roles such as Senior Carers, Deputy Managers, or Care Managers.

Elmfield Care takes pride in its robust internal and external training initiatives. With an internal trainer shared with another care group, we ensure flexibility and consistency in training, fostering a company ethos that permeates the workplace organically. This approach extends into our commitment to external trainers, including Skills for Care and specialised care courses conducted by legal and financial firms. Topics range from business-related subjects to care-specific issues, such as recognising pain in individuals with dementia.

Delivering a bespoke apprenticeship solution

Our company actively supports apprenticeships through a multi-faceted approach. We invest time and effort from individuals across our homes, collaborating closely with training providers and tutors to ensure comprehensive support. Recognising and celebrating success, we grant awards and recognition to apprentices who achieve milestones.

We have benefited greatly from working with our training provider, Paragon Skills, and the support of sponsors providing financial support to our training programmes through the Apprenticeship programme, from premier league Bournemouth Football Club to Wiltshire Council. This has enabled us to provide opportunities and offer apprenticeships and further qualifications to both current and new team members.

Our active engagement with Paragon Skills reflects our unwavering dedication to enhancing the skills and expertise of our team. Together with Paragon Skills, we are actively engaged in elevating the skills and expertise of our team.

The pass rate for learners doing an apprenticeship with Elmfield Care has been 100% with 75% achieving a merit or a distinction grade.

We aim to nurture and train our teams, fostering their growth to reach their full potential, and working towards their career aspirations while offering high-quality care within the sector.
