Laura’s thoughts on her apprenticeship

Laura shared that she thoroughly enjoyed the apprenticeship course and felt fully supported by both her tutor and employer throughout the entire experience. She attended regular sessions with her tutor, which provided her with invaluable opportunities to ask questions, clarify any concerns, and address any queries she had. These sessions were instrumental in helping her gain the support she needed to succeed. Laura appreciated the open and approachable nature of her tutor, who always made time to ensure she understood the material and felt confident in her abilities. Additionally, her employer played a crucial role in her development by offering practical, hands-on experience and fostering a supportive work environment. This combination of academic guidance and real-world application allowed Laura to thrive in her apprenticeship, ultimately boosting her confidence and competence in her chosen field.

Laura has since completed her apprenticeship and has achieved an impressive distinction for her dedication to learning and progression. She hopes to apply for a management role within the Document Control Team and plans to look into further education and apprenticeships relevant to her role to continue progressing her career within Care and the NHS.
