So far, it has really helped me with my day-to-day job and I have found that my communication skills have improved. I am finding a balance between learning and working and manage my time well using the online resources on the learner management tool Bud. I also use the online resources from BSKB to complete my functional skills and attend regular workshops which I find a great help for my progression. I have found the visits from my Personal Tutor and the workshops really useful. My tutor Sophie provides very good support, is friendly, explains everything thoroughly and most importantly she is accessible and always responds to my emails.
Sofia’s thoughts on the apprenticeship so far
A key tip for other learners is that you must take ownership and use all of the resources and support that are available. Self-investment and time management are key, and naturally an interest in what you are studying for.
The apprenticeship is motivating me to progress and I am really pleased I started this programme.
