The theories of management I have learnt have been interesting and I find I have been able to utilise these in my day to day role. I particularly enjoyed the Project Management units and can bring elements of this into my role. The apprenticeship has really helped me to understand the different learning styles for my team, coaching styles I can utilise and self-awareness.
Susan’s thoughts on the apprenticeship so far
My Personal Tutor, Laura, is lovely and really supportive. She is encouraging, sets clear goals with me, explains things really well, and gets back to me really quickly when I need support. My line manager has been encouraging too and ensure I book time out in my calendar when I need it. Overall Optivo have been very supportive of me undertaking this apprenticeship.
