Apprenticeships are essential for our staff at The Cube. They allow team members to gain valuable knowledge and hands-on experience. Through practical tasks, they develop new skills and learn different ways of working, which ultimately benefits both our employees and the clients we support.
The Cube Disability’s commitment to apprenticeships
At The Cube Disability, we recognise the vital role apprenticeships play in supporting both staff development and the quality of care we provide. We believe that by investing in our people, we create stronger, more confident teams who are better equipped to support our clients with learning disabilities and autism.
Apprenticeships are a valuable part of our staff progression pathway, helping individuals gain the skills and knowledge they need to grow within their roles. We encourage open communication with our apprentices, inviting them to tell us what support they need throughout their learning journey. We take a flexible, person-centred approach, just as we do with our clients because we understand that every apprenticeship experience is unique.
Our team is supported with time and space to complete their off-the-job training, and we work closely with our training partners to ensure tasks are understood and applied in real settings. By embedding learning into everyday practice, we help our staff thrive – which, in turn, strengthens the outcomes we deliver for the individuals we support.
Delivering impactful apprenticeship opportunities at The Cube Disability
The Cube Disability is committed to developing our workforce through high-quality apprenticeship programmes. We currently offer Level 3 and Level 5 Health and Social Care qualifications, supporting both entry-level and experienced team members to progress in their careers.
We maintain a close and responsive relationship with Paragon Skills, ensuring strong communication and a smooth learning experience for our apprentices. While one central contact oversees the apprenticeship programme, we collaborate across centres to ensure staff feel supported at every stage of their journey.
We’ve seen clear success stories from our apprenticeship programme, with staff who have completed their qualifications going on to achieve well-deserved promotions and new responsibilities. Internal progression is a core part of our values, and we continue to encourage staff to enrol in apprenticeships for their own personal and professional growth.
At The Cube, we see apprenticeships as an investment, not only in our team, but in the quality of care we provide. By fostering continuous learning and recognising achievements along the way, we’re building a stronger, more skilled workforce that’s passionate about supporting others.
