Tricuro is an employer who recognises the importance of learning and the need for training and teaching to be provided in a variety of flexible ways to ensure every learner has their needs met. Together with Paragon Skills, they are upskilling their team. 

Tricuro is a provider of high-quality care and support to older people; people with physical and learning disabilities; people with mental health needs; dementia; carers and clients’ families. First formed in 2015, their mission is to provide high-quality, innovative person-centred care and support.  

At Tricuro we aim to change the mindset and perception of how jobs in health and social care are viewed by investing in and developing staff, enabling people to gain nationally-recognised qualifications and progress within the sector with the focus being to join us for a rewarding career, not just a job.

Tricuro have highly trained and skilled staff and offer flexibility, consistency and reliability of service which is focused on meeting the needs of people in our communities. They are committed to staff learning and supporting the team to gain qualifications, they strongly believe that a well-trained team means that they are better able to deliver quality care to their residents. 

Working in partnership with Paragon Skills, the business ensures that they upskill their teams and they can gain additional qualifications. Tricuro is committed to its own growth through the delivery of quality services by qualified, motivated, and multi-skilled staff who they take care of and reward for their efforts; they do this by investing time and money into training their teams, working with them on progression plans and personal development through the right training. 

Delivering a bespoke apprenticeship solution

People learn in different ways, by working with Paragon Skills we have been able to support these differences by offering a variety of tailored delivery methods including face-to-face, online, recorded, and written content. We work with Paragon Skills to ensure that we are offering each and every one of our team the best possible training to ensure that they not only grow and develop their skillset and work-based knowledge but also that they grow in confidence and self-esteem. 

Tricuro recognises that investing in meaningful training helps create equally meaningful careers. Having a skilled, valued, motivated team increases productivity and the quality of care and support provided to people who use their services.  

Last year we had a 100% pass rate with 65% passing with grades merit or distinction. 

Tricuro are using the apprenticeship levy to its full to support qualifications. The time invested in supporting learners has resulted in a skilled workforce, better staff retention, and enabled a process and strategy for succession planning. 

We value our staff at every level, and we embrace the breadth of variety of ethnicities and cultures from which they come. We seek to develop and train our staff to grow into the best that they can achieve and encourage and promote our teams to maximise their contribution.
