Funding these qualifications

The Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS), provided by the Department of Health and Social Care, allows employers to reclaim the full cost of the Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate (£1,500 + VAT). This scheme supports the development of non-regulated adult social care staff in England, including sponsored/overseas recruits, deputy and CQC-registered managers, and agency staff, for the 2024-2025 financial year.

Eligibility and Claim Process:

  • Eligible Staff: Non-regulated adult social care staff, including overseas recruits, CQC-registered managers, and agency staff.
  • Claim Period: Courses must be paid for and started between 1 April 2024 and 31 March 2025.
  • Submission Deadline: Claims must be submitted by 21 March 2025.
  • Funding Cap: A cap applies to the total value of claims reimbursed per organisation.
