Who is the Apprenticeship for?
This Apprenticeship is designed for your employees who work in health and social care services. They will be providing help and support to those most in need including residential services for people with disabilities, older people and young adults in day care, domiciliary, respite or community-based services.
Your employees should be in a higher management position to successfully complete this Apprenticeship. They could be registered Managers, Deputy or Assistant Managers, Senior Support Workers or Team Leaders and looking to improve their leadership skills to progress to the next level of their career.

What will they learn?
During the Apprenticeship programme, your employees will learn to champion equality, diversity and inclusion, promote high standards of continuous care, shadow senior care workers and develop their own leadership skills and style.
This qualification guides and assesses the development of knowledge, understanding and skills in leadership and management practice within health and social care and serves as the required qualification for registration and regulatory requirements for the sector in England.
How will they learn?
Our Personal Tutors will deliver high-quality face-to-face learning and coaching and provide all the resources your employee’s needs. They may also be taught through Skype and may also be supported remotely. Our intuitive learner management system ‘Bud’ will bring the subject to life through interactive learning tools, access to complementary online resources and relevant social communities. It also provides real-time information so you always know how your employees are progressing.
I completed my Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care with Paragon Skills. My tutor was absolutely brilliant. I am now currently doing my Level 3 in Health and Social Care. No question is too big or small or silly, help is always at hand either in person, on the phone and or by emails! The Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship is part of a set of standards designed to create a clear career pathway in healthcare. After this training, your Apprentices should be fully equipped for the demanding role of Healthcare Support Worker. They will learn how to treat people with dignity and respect, show empathy, develop the confidence to challenge any areas of concern and work consistently to best practice standards.
The Senior Healthcare support worker level 3 Apprenticeship will develop your skills further and enhance your career prospects in the healthcare sector.
