A Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs Intermediate Level Apprenticeship is an investment in the skills you need to succeed in the hospitality industry. These skills include:

The exact details of your job depend on your specific employer, but typically you can expect to work between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday - but these hours may differ depending on your chosen employer. 

The duties of a light vehicle service technician may include:

  • Servicing vehicles – carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturers’ guidelines
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
  • Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs
  • Producing time estimates
  • Maintaining repair and service records
