You may already lead or manage a team, or wish to move on to such a role. It aims to develop knowledge and understanding of complex business functions and activities.

What you can expect
On successful completion of your Management Higher Level Apprenticeship you will hold a Level 4 Diploma in Management.
The Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Management has been developed to support those working as managers, senior managers, heads of department, directors and those working in a range of other senior management positions.
Your work could include:
- Managing team dynamics
- Delegating and capability building
- Planning and managing projects
- Managing projects
The exact details of your job during your Apprenticeship depend on your specific employer, but typically in a full-time role you can expect to work between 35 and 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday and may include overtime.

Due to the varied nature of management there are many job roles that apply to the higher level management level, such as a head of function or area manager. A Higher Apprenticeship can also lead to further academic qualifications, such as an Honours Degree. A majority of Apprentices continue working for the company that they trained with – at a higher level. It is also possible to move to a different company with the qualifications gained.
