Who is the Apprenticeship for?

This Apprenticeship is designed for employees who work in Business to Business or Business to Consumer markets with the responsibility to sell a specific product line or service.

As a Sales Executive, employees will plan their sales activities, establish rapport, trust and relationships with their customers and lead the end-to-end sales interaction with the customer. They will be responsible for retaining and growing a number of existing customer accounts, and generating new business by contacting prospective customers, qualifying opportunities and bringing the sales process to a mutually acceptable close.

At the end of the apprenticeship, the employee will be an expert in their organisation's product/service, analysing customer needs and creating solutions

Sales Executives operate in organisations of all sizes across all sectors and markets, including Technology, Media, Pharmaceutical, Recruitment, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Utilities and the Automotive Sector. Typical job roles and job titles include Sales Consultant, Sales Specialist, Sales Advisor, Sales Representative, Business Development Executive, and Field Sales Executive

The Sales Executive Apprenticeship Standard focusses on the key areas of knowledge, skills, professional behaviours and values needed for a successful career in Sales. Designed to enhance your existing knowledge and skills, introduce new ones, and give you the best sales toolkit possible!

How will they learn?

Our Personal Tutors will deliver high-quality face-to-face learning and coaching and provide all the resources your employee will need to progress quickly.
