Who is the Apprenticeship for?
This Apprenticeship is ideal for employees starting out in the beauty sector as well as those that are working in the sector and want to get their skills and knowledge formally recognised with a professional qualification.
Your employees will have first class communication skills, an eye for detail and use their existing skills to make your customers feel comfortable and relaxed – whether fulfilling reception duties or assisting with technical beauty services.

What will they learn?
This Apprenticeship has been designed to develop your employees’ technical skills and creativity as well as their understanding of specific treatments and techniques. They will gain direct hands-on experience to be confident to provide and promote a range of therapeutic facial and body care services.
Their confidence will be boosted and their knowledge of products and services - both industry-wide and specific to your business - will be enriched and will be evident on a daily basis in the first-class service they deliver to every one of your customers.
Apprentices without Level 1 English and Maths will need to achieve this level and take the test for Level 2 English and Maths prior to taking the end-point assessment.
How will they learn?
Our Personal Tutors will deliver high quality face-to-face learning and coaching and provide all the resources your employee needs. Our intuitive learner management system ‘Bud’ will bring the subject to life through interactive learning tools, access to complementary online resources and relevant social communities. It also provides real time information so you always know how your employee is progressing.

Your pathway to success
Once you have completed your Hairdressing Level 2 Apprenticeship, you will have gained all the basic hairdressing skills required to get recognised and progress in this exciting industry.
A career in hairdressing offers many interesting career options which includes working in a spa, hotel, care home, cruise ship or holiday resort.
The natural progression after you have completed this level is to progress onto the Hairdressing Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship.
