This Apprenticeship is ideal for people that are new to the industry or for those junior employees that have already got some experience under their belt and are looking to get their skills and knowledge formally recognised with a professional qualification.

What will they learn?
This Apprenticeship will develop your employees’ professional barbering skills as well as their understanding of current policies and processes. They will learn how to shampoo and condition hair, cut hair using a range of techniques, cut facial hair into shape and provide grooming services specifically for men.
Their confidence will be boosted and their knowledge of products and services - both industry-wide and specific to your business - will be enriched. All of their new knowledge, skills and behaviours will be evident on a daily basis in the first-class service they deliver to every one of your customers.
How will they learn?
Our Personal Tutors will deliver high-quality face-to-face learning and coaching and provide all the resources your employee will need to progress quickly. Our intuitive learner management system ‘Bud’ will really bring the subject to life through interactive learning tools, access to complementary online resources and relevant social communities, as well as provide real-time learner information so that you will always know what your employee is learning and how they are progressing.
This Apprenticeship will develop your employees’ knowledge, skills and behaviours in the following areas:

Your pathway to success
Once you have completed your Barbering Level 2 Apprenticeship, you will have gained all the basic barbering skills required to get recognised and progress in your chosen industry.
A career in barbering could give you the opportunity to work in a variety of locations, including department stores, cruise ships, hotels and holiday resorts.
The natural progression after you have completed this level is to take the Barbering Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship.
