What can you expect on your Beauty Therapy Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship?
This Apprenticeship includes training in a number of mandatory and optional units which are designed to enhance your competencies across a range of beauty therapy specific skillsets. These include:
- Indian head massage treatments
- Stone therapy treatments
- Body massage treatments
- The use of pre-blended aromatherapy oils
- Body electrical treatments
- Facial electrical treatments
- Single eye-lash treatments
- UV tanning services
- Female and male intimate waxing services
You will also learn how to monitor procedures to safely control work operations, how to contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities and contribute to the financial effectiveness of the business.
The exact details of your role whilst undertaking your Apprenticeship will depend on your employer. Typically, you can expect to work a standard 40-hour week within traditional salon opening days and times, which often include working weekend and occasional evenings.
