Who is the Apprenticeship for?

This Apprenticeship is ideal for employees that want to take their hospitality career to the next level. It is designed for employees that want to progress to a supervisory level or who have already started supervising others in their current role.

These employees work in a variety of settings including bars, restaurants, kitchens, cafés, conference centres, banqueting venues, hotels, care homes or for contract caterers.

They provide vital support to management teams and are capable of independently supervising hospitality services and running shifts.

What will they learn?

This Apprenticeship will enhance your employees’ already existing high-quality hospitality and customer service skills whilst developing the expertise needed to inspire their team members and the wider teams around them. They will learn how to work under pressure delivering excellent customer service and motivating a team in their chosen pathway of the hospitality sector. 

This Apprenticeship recognises the multifunctional nature of the hospitality industry and provides the skill set needed to manage and motivate a team - whatever area of your business they specialise in.

How will they learn?

Our Personal Tutors will deliver high-quality face-to-face learning and coaching and provide all the resources your employee will need to progress quickly. Our intuitive learner management system ‘Bud’ will really bring the subject to life through interactive learning tools, access to complementary online resources and relevant social communities, as well as provide real-time learner information so that you will always know what your employee is learning and how they are progressing.

This Apprenticeship will develop your employees’ knowledge, skills and behaviours in the following areas:

Your pathway to success

The Hospitality Supervisor Level 3 Apprenticeship will open up many interesting opportunities for your career in the vast travel and tourism and food and entertainment sectors, and the service sector in general.  

The UK tourism industry has enjoyed consistent growth over recent years, and it is forecast that the UK will have a tourism industry worth over £257 billion by 2025 - just under 10% of UK GDP and supporting almost 3.8 million jobs, which is around 11% of the total UK number. 

Once you have completed this Level 3 Apprenticeship, then you could continue to develop your supervisory/management skills through Accredited ILM Team leading and Managment Apprenticeships and really get noticed in your industry.
