What you can expect from your Hospitality Supervisor Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard

During this Apprenticeship, you will develop your skills and knowledge to effectively provide vital support to management teams and learn how to independently supervise hospitality services and manage shifts. Your role will include working under pressure delivering customer service and motivating a team in your chosen pathway of the hospitality sector. Supervisors can specialise in specific functions or work across a variety of functions that reflect the multi-functional nature of the industry

The exact details of your job depend on your specific role and organisation. Typically a career in the hospitality sector involves working varied shifts including evenings and weekends over an approximately 40-hour working week.

The Hospitality Supervisor Level 3 Apprenticeship will open up many interesting opportunities for your career in the vast travel and tourism and food and entertainment sectors, and the service sector in general.  

The UK tourism industry has enjoyed consistent growth over recent years, and it is forecast that the UK will have a tourism industry worth over £257 billion by 2025 - just under 10% of UK GDP and supporting almost 3.8 million jobs, which is around 11% of the total UK number. 

Once you have completed this Level 3 Apprenticeship, then you could continue to develop your supervisory/management skills through Accredited ILM Team leading and Managment Apprenticeships and really get noticed in your industry.
