Our UK Care Week – Golden Ticket Prize Draw Winner is…

It’s hard to believe the UK Care Week exhibition which was held at the NEC Birmingham was almost 4 weeks ago now. The event brought together the care community, addressed the biggest challenges facing the care sector, and celebrated care workers.

The Paragon Skills team were on stand E86, and we were grateful for the opportunity to speak directly to so many of our Care employer partners about the issues facing their care settings.

Wheel of Fortune

We were delighted so many of you took part in our Wheel of Fortune event over the two days of the expo. In total, it was just under 300 spins and of these spins, 12 of you landed on the golden ticket prize draw entry! Before we get to the winner, we’d once again like to express our gratitude for the time you all spared to chat with our team, and to those of you who attended our guest speaker slot, presented by our Commercial Director, Paul O’Hagan on how we at Paragon Skills believe apprenticeships to be part of the solution to the recruitment and retention challenges the Care sector faces.

Without further ado….

This year’s Wheel of Fortune golden ticket prize draw winner for 2022 is Georgina Pennington from Home Instead Leigh, who took home a Selfridges Hamper filled with some of their iconic treats.

Georgina was very happy when she was notified of the winnings, she said: “I’m super happy to have won, it’s always great to win something”. When asked what she thought about apprenticeships as a solution she said “Apprenticeships are important in helping my staff develop. We currently have staff on Level 3 and Level 5 programmes and will always continue to do so.”

Congratulations again to Georgina, we hope you enjoy your prize! If you missed our team at the UK Care Week Expo and would like to discuss the benefits apprenticeships can offer your care setting please get in touch today on 0800 783 2545.
