Promoting good mental health at an individual and community level

All our apprenticeships will now include self-development sections covering awareness of mental health and the steps that apprentices can take to support someone where they are showing signs that they are struggling with their mental wellbeing.

The content has been specially designed to give the learner the confidence to identify when someone is struggling with their mental health or wellbeing, an understanding of the impact that this can have on someone’s day-to-day life and an awareness of the sources of support that can be accessed. We have also included the key element of self-care which encourages learners to nurture their own well-being and stay mentally healthy.

The teams at Paragon Skills are passionate about delivering meaningful learning.

Mental health and resilience support for learners

eQuoo is a mental health and resilience app that focuses on improving and maintaining the emotional health of its users.

eQuoo has been developed using clinical research and solutions and focuses on the idea that many mental health provisions wait for someone to realise they have an issue and then offer a solution to fix the issue. eQuoo is different – it trains the solution before the problem arises.

eQuoo has a pre-prescribed, clinically proven journey, which teaches people the skills they need to approach daily challenges in a positive and constructive manner. This is clinically proven to reduce Anxiety and Depression, while building Resilience, Personal Growth and Interpersonal Skills. It focuses on prevention and early intervention – not curing symptoms.

This App is available to all learners aged 16-34 who are considered to be vulnerable with it being widened and offered to all learners aged 16-34 that enrol with us from 1 August 2022.
