Working as an Associate Project Manager you will need good planning, organisation, leadership, management and communication skills. How to best utilise resources with the suitable skills, qualifications, experience and knowledge to work together in a motivated and integrated team, with clearly defined reporting lines, roles, responsibilities and authorities. This apprenticeship programme will teach you everything you need to know to excel in this role, you will learn to know whats you need, how it will be achieved, how long it will take your team and how much it will cost from the set budget. You will coordinate the project team to achieve the required outcomes while reporting back to the Project Manager.

Completing the Associate Project Manager programme you will gain the knowledge and skills to be able to support your Project Manager by helping to monitor project scope, timelines, budgets and key milestones. This includes achieving the Level D International Project Management Association (IPMA) qualification, which you will complete before reaching the gateway segment of the programme.
Upon commencement of the programme, you will be eligible to sign up as student members of the Association for Project Management (APM) this is the first step of professional membership. You will be eligible for progression to associate membership upon successful completion of the Associate Project Manager apprenticeship.
