We offer apprenticeship programmes to help Recruitment and Learning and Development professionals to excel in their role, and attract and retain the best talent.

Whether you want to start out as a Recruitment Resourcer, are moving into a Recruitment Consultant role, or already have experience but want to be recognised for your skills – our programmes can help you achieve what you need to.

If you’re in a Learning and Development role and want to hone your skills to ensure you are developing the right skills at the right time across your organisation, our Level 3 programme can help you to do this.

Apprenticeships in this sector

  • Level 2 apprenticeship

    This apprenticeship has been designed to give you the required training to become an effective Recruitment Resourcer.

    In addition to identifying and attracting candidates, you will become a well-rounded recruitment team member identifying new business opportunities, liaising effectively with candidates and the wider business, whilst ensuring all processes, procedures, codes of ethics and legislation are adhered to.

  • Level 3 apprenticeship

    The role of a Learning and Development Practitioner is to identify, create and deliver appropriate training for the needs of the business and it’s employees.

    As a learning and development professional, you will understand the importance of continuous professional development, and an apprenticeship is a fantastic way to get the skills you need to work effectively in your role.

  • Level 3 apprenticeship

    Whether you’re already in a recruitment role and want to move up, want to upskill in your existing role, or want to hone your skills and change to a career in recruitment, this apprenticeship is for you.

  • Level 3 apprenticeship

    As a Learning Mentor you will work within the learning and development provision of a business.

    Collaborating closely with your colleagues and other industry professionals, utilising your knowledge and experience to guide and advise employees who need your assistance.

We used the levy to improve retention. In our sector, staff turnover has been historically high, but now our own management numbers in particular are much more stable and there are far fewer HR issues.


Do I have to find a job first?

If you’re not currently employed or looking for a new job, you can apply for apprenticeship vacancies advertised by employers looking to employ an apprentice, as you must be employed to undertake an apprenticeship.

If you already have a job and wish to gain a qualification in that industry as an apprentice, this is possible subject to your employer’s agreement.

Will it cost me anything?

No. Your employer pays your wage and we apply for government funding from the Education and Skills Funding Agency to support the cost of your qualification.
Currently 100% funding is available for apprentices ages 16 – 18 and 90% for those aged 19 + (subject to the employers levy status).

Can I undertake an Apprenticeship with my current employer?
