Paragon Skills Launches Ambassador Programme: Strengthening Partnerships in Care Apprenticeships
At Paragon Skills, we know that the best outcomes for learners and employers are achieved through strong, collaborative partnerships. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of our Ambassador Programme, a key initiative designed to deepen our relationships with a select group of highly engaged employers and, in time, their learners too.
What is the Ambassador Programme?
The Ambassador Programme is all about working more closely with a small number of our top employer partners who share our passion for high-quality apprenticeships in care. By inviting these employers to become ambassadors, we’re creating a platform for open dialogue, shared learning, collaborative support and continuous improvement. Our ambassadors will help us shape the future of apprenticeship delivery, champion the value of apprenticeships in care, and support us in promoting best practice across the sector.
Why Employer Ambassadors Matter
Our employer ambassadors are more than just partners, they are trusted collaborators who play a vital role in our mission. By sharing their insights, feedback, and experiences, they help us to:
- Continuously improve our apprenticeship programmes
- Ensure our training meets the real needs of the care sector
- Inspire and support the next generation of care professionals
- Advocate for the value and impact of apprenticeships
Meet Our First Cohort
We’re proud to introduce our first cohort of employer ambassadors, representing three outstanding organisations, supporting apprenticeships in the care sector:
Each of these partners brings a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to developing talent through apprenticeships. Over the coming months, we’ll be working closely with them to gather feedback, share best practice, and co-create new opportunities for learners and employers alike.
CCH Group
CCH Group (City & County Healthcare Group) is the UK’s largest provider of community-based social and home care. Founded in 2009, we deliver over 1.5 million hours of care monthly through 32 companies and 14,000 care professionals across 260+ locations.
Our mission is to transform lives through extraordinary care and become the best place to work in care. We offer home care, complex care, live-in care, supported living, and extra care schemes, combining national scale with local expertise.
We invest in technology, training, and engagement to support our teams and improve outcomes, with innovations like digital care planning and frontline feedback systems. Through our partnership with Paragon Skills, we champion apprenticeships to grow talent, enhance care quality, and build a sustainable future for the sector.
“Being part of the Paragon Skills Apprenticeship Ambassador Programme is a real honour. Apprenticeships are more than just qualifications, they’re a pathway to confidence, competence, and career progression. I’m passionate about creating opportunities for care professionals to thrive, and this programme allows us to celebrate and amplify the impact of apprenticeships across the sector. I’m excited to collaborate with Paragon Skills and fellow ambassadors to inspire others and drive positive change in care.”
Voyage Care
With over 35 years of experience, Voyage Care is a trusted provider of specialist care for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, brain injuries, and complex needs across the UK. Our purpose—fulfilling lives for all—is at the heart of everything we do. It means empowering the people we support to lead lives filled with meaning, independence, and genuine connection.
To deliver on this purpose, it is essential that our workforce is not only compassionate but also highly skilled and continuously developing. Apprenticeships play a pivotal role in achieving this. They provide structured, high-quality learning opportunities that enable our colleagues to build and enhance their knowledge, skills, and behaviours in a way that directly benefits the people we support.
“Investing in apprenticeships helps us to grow talent from within, foster career progression, and ensure that our teams are equipped to meet the evolving needs of the care sector. It also reinforces our commitment to professional development and lifelong learning, which are key to maintaining excellence in care delivery.
By embedding apprenticeships into our workforce strategy, Voyage Care strengthens its ability to deliver person-centred care and uphold the values that define our organisation.”
Priory Group
Priory is the largest independent provider of mental health and adult social care services in the UK, caring for 26,000 people a year across 270 sites.
“Priory is delighted to be part of Paragon Skills’ new Ambassador Programme. Apprenticeships are vital to how we grow and develop our colleagues and creating clear and varied career pathways across our organisation. We are proud that more than 5% of our workforce is currently completing an apprenticeship and our collaborative relationship with Paragon has been key to achieving this. We firmly believe that strong partnership working is essential to creating high-quality learning experiences and ensuring our sector continues to thrive.”
Looking Ahead
This is just the beginning. We’ll be looking to expand the Ambassador Programme to welcome a second group of employer partners in the near future, as well as helping our sister brands within Knovia Group to develop their own Apprenticeship Ambassador programmes in their respective sectors. Our ambition is to build a vibrant community of ambassadors who can help us drive positive change across the apprenticeship sector, and across Knovia Group and our sister brands.
We’re excited to see what we can achieve together, and we look forward to sharing updates as the programme grows.
