Paragon Skills is supporting this year’s ‘The Brilliant Breakfast’ from the The Prince’s Trust
The Brilliant Breakfast is an annual, nationwide event. The funds raised help The Prince’s Trust support disadvantaged young women to change their lives for the better, through education or meaningful employment. Together, we can bring hope and opportunity to those who have lost confidence in their future.
Disadvantaged young women need our support. Young women starting their working lives today have faced disruption to their employment and education, as well as social isolation from family and friends. For many who were already vulnerable before the pandemic – whether facing long-term unemployment, mental health issues, challenges at home or difficulties at school, or even homelessness – they can see no way out.
By supporting the Brilliant Breakfast, you’re helping The Prince’s Trust to provide these young women with the confidence and opportunities they need to improve their prospects and transform their lives.
The Prince’s Trust is an organisation we know very well.
We have worked in partnership with Prince’s Trust over the past few years to deliver our ‘Get into Healthcare’ programme. A joint programme was set up to support and encourage young people to choose a career in healthcare and hopefully help them to move on to do an apprenticeship following some hands-on work experience.
Since COVID, there has been an increasing interest and demand for healthcare workers.
This is a vital sector and one that has faced many challenges over the past few years and working with the Prince’s Trust we are looking to provide solutions and bring more passionate people into this demanding but giving career choice.
Now, more than ever, it is important to find talent that is passionate about the industry and willing to learn. 100% of learners enrolled in our three-week programme started working full-time in care following the completion of the Get into Healthcare course.
“Supporting people through apprenticeship training is in the fabric of what we do, and we have seen time and time again the difference training can make to a young person’s life and career.”
