Location:      Home based with some travel required for meetings
Salary:           £22,000
– £25,000 per annum plus up to an additional £5,000 performance related
bonus

About the role:

As a Business Development Executive, you will manage our new
and existing employer partners through the onboarding process. You will
successfully talk to employer partners over the phone cross-selling and
promoting products and services, so a confident self-starter with a can-do
attitude is a must! Collaboration is key within this Business Development role
as you will capture incoming enquiries, campaign leads, and sales referrals
from different areas of our marketing and business development activity and
will manage these opportunities to generate interest and win new business.

What will you be
doing?

Researching businesses, individuals and industry
trends to identify potential new clients and markets and ways to serve existing
clients better

·      
Contacting potential new clients using phone and
email to gauge interest and plan meetings

·      
Liaising with customers via phone, online
(website, social media etc.)

·      
Handling inbound enquires

·      
Following up on marketing campaign activity such
as email campaigns, website leads etc.

·      
Supporting the marketing and business development
teams by being the first point of contact for lead follow up and enquires

·      
Build and nurture your own pipeline of clients;
We understand that not everyone is ready to come onto the market right away and
support our clients on their journey until they’re ready, sharing knowledge and
insights throughout supporting our clients to make an informed decision

Overcome customer objections in a confident and
service led manner

·      
Actively listening to all customers
requirements, maintaining accurate records of all communications and ensuring
all necessary follow-up action is taken at the earliest opportunity

·      
Escalating any complaints to the Customer
Support Team

·      
Updating the CRM and working closely with the
CRM Analyst

·      
Preparing client presentations and materials,
including PowerPoint and sales displays

·      
Identifying new opportunities for lead
generation working closely with the Marketing Team

·      
Possess excellent product knowledge to enhance
customer support.

·      
Attending networking opportunities including
conferences and industry events

What we need from
you:

Similar experience within a sales/ business
development role

·    
A team player with good planning and
organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload

·    
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
and PowerPoint

·    
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail

·    
Strong written and verbal communication skills

·    
Self-starter who can plan and execute own work
and keep management abreast of progress appropriately

·    
Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and to remain
calm under pressure

·      
Ability to probe effectively when establishing a
customer’s needs

·      
Active listener with the ability to objection
handle

·      
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced
environment

·      
Strong organisational skills; with the ability
to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accurate attention to detail

·      
Experience in upselling and cross-selling would
be advantageous
