About the role:

Using your strong experience
within the EdTech sector, you will provide specialist advice and knowledge to
colleagues to support curriculum development. You will plan, design and develop
impactful learning products to ensure our learners receive an outstanding
teaching and learning experience.

Your project
management skills will see you working on numerous projects at once, from
development of Explainer Videos to supporting the maintenance of programmes on
our Learning Management System.

What will you be
doing?

·        
Provide specialist advice and knowledge to
colleagues to support curriculum development, including ideas and support.
Bring about innovation to the role and department

·        
Plan, design and develop impactful learning
products which satisfy identified learning outcomes, mostly for apprenticeships
but not limited to

·        
Create interactive e-learning modules from
storyboards, using Articulate 360 and Storyline which will be exported as a
SCORM file and added to our LMS

·        
Lead on the development of Explainer Videos,
using appropriate software to design and create innovative videos that can be
added to the LMS

·        
Prioritise effectively and work on multiple
project deliverables with tight deadlines, ensuring the Digital Curriculum
Manager is kept up to date

·        
Support the curriculum team and others on
ensuring documents are branded correctly, in line with our brand standards

·        
Maintain and update content management and
development processes to meet the needs of users

·        
Develop learning material that suits all
abilities to ensure no learner is left behind even if they lack digital skills

·        
Support the maintenance of programmes on the
LMS, including updating content, keeping track of version numbers and adding of
new programmes

·        
Maintain CPD in the EdTech area to seek out the
latest products and market trends and bring back to the department for
discussion

·        
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children
and young people you are responsible for or come into contact with

·        
Be aware of GDPR legislation and comply with all
data protection requirements

What we need from
you:

·      
Strong experience within a similar role within
the EdTech sector, designing and developing e-learning content and Explainer
Videos

·      
Experience within the apprenticeship/ work based
learning sector is advantageous but is not essential

·      
Strong project management skills with the
ability to juggle numerous priorities and tasks

·      
Graphic design skills with the ability to use
this to create impactful learning materials 

·      
Excellent communication skills, written, in
person and via telephone/ Teams with the ability to communicate confidently
with colleagues and clients at all levels

·      
Exceptional administrative skills with a keen
eye for detail and ability to maintain accurate records at all times

·      
Confident and advanced user of MS Office
packages including Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly

·      
Ability to work independently with little
supervision – experience of working from home is preferred 

·        
Ambitious and target orientated with a drive to
succeed in everything that you do

·        
Enjoys being challenged and finding new and
innovative ways of working

·        
Flexible and adaptable to change with the
ability to take ownership of tasks

·
