‘Seeds4Growth’ a new partnership for Paragon Skills

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new partnership led by Abberton Rural Training (ART), delivered by our team at Paragon skills, Colbea, Colne Radio and CVS Tendring called ‘Seeds 4 Growth’.

Our partnership has been granted funds from as part of the UK Community Renewal Funds (CRF)  which has a total funding pot of £220 million. The CRF aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK. It aims to nurture innovative thinking through pilot programmes and new approaches that align with one, or deliver across several, of the following investment priorities:

  • Investment in skills
  • Investment for local business
  • Investment in communities and place
  • Supporting people into employment

What does this mean for us and you?

This new partnership Seeds4Growth meets all four of the CRF criteria and has secured funds that will be used to contribute to the levelling up agenda by investing in people, places, businesses and communities. The partnership will be providing live online training for people who want to learn about working in Care! These training sessions are recognised by the Care sector and can help those looking to start on a pathway to a new career in care.

The training will be delivered online by our experienced and knowledgeable tutors live, for those who don’t have devices to get access to the online training, your local JobCentre Plus employment coach will be able to help you to get online and sign up for the training!

We will be introducing you to the world of working within the care sector over a 3-week programme. Once the programme is complete there may also be an opportunity to interview with a local employer for a permanent role within the sector allowing you to put all the knowledge you have gathered to great use with the opportunity to start a career and gain recognised qualifications as you continue your care journey!
