Silver and Bronze Awards for Paragon Skills’ apprentices at the Skills for Health our Health Heroes Awards 2022.

Paragon Skills apprentices win Silver and Bronze Awards as “Breakthrough Apprentice of the Year” at the Skills for Health our Health Heroes Awards 2022.

About the Learners

The team at Paragon Skills want to say a massive congratulations to Jade and Megan on being named Silver and Bronze “Breakthrough Apprentice of the Year” at the Skills for Health Our Health Heroes Awards 2022.

Our apprentice and Hale Barns care home worker Jade Loton, has been named as the Silver winner of the ‘Breakthrough Apprentice of the Year category’ at this year’s prestigious Skills for Health Our Health Heroes Awards.

Since becoming a carer in 2020, Jade has been no stranger to awards and accolades, having been named ‘employee of the month’ in her first month at Sunrise Senior Living, before scooping ‘Carer of the Year’ award just twelve months later.

Regional Director (Care UK) Northern Region, Amanda Holland said: “Jade’s is at an outstanding level, and she will always go above and beyond to support her team…Jade is what care is.”

We are also pleased to announce that Paragon Skills apprentice and Way Ahead Leisure Pursuits care worker Megan Nicolaou-Dance , has been named as the Bronze winner of the ‘Breakthrough Apprentice of the Year’ category.

Since entering the profession aged 17, Megan has made remarkable progress as an apprentice. Within 6 months of achieving her Level 2 qualification, Megan was going above and beyond to support senior colleagues to achieve their Level 3.

Personal Tutor Chris Jasiczak of Paragon Skills agrees saying: “Recognised as a strong team member, building collaborative and supportive relationships with service users, external professionals and internal staff, Megan exemplifies the core values of an apprentice and is an outstanding ambassador for the healthcare sector.”
