Rock A Tots are looking for a New Nursery Assistant Apprentice, you will be studying toward your Early Years Practitioner Level 2.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:


•To abide by all policies and procedures
•To work in all nursery rooms as and when required
•To assist staff in preparing and implementing activities
•To keep the nursery clean, tidy, safe and welcoming to all
•To promote a happy and positive atmosphere
•To attend staff meetings and training courses
•Apprentices should complete a first aid qualification, safeguarding, child protection and food safety course within 3 months of employment
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children within your care
• To become fully involved in all activities, particularly the observation of children
• To undertake necessary duties as directed by senior staff

Training

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 15 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Early Years Practitioner – L2.

Prospects
Possibility of a full time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.
