We’re #Celebrating Social Care this April; Here’s why it matters
Every April, Skills for Care leads the national #CelebratingSocialCare campaign, a dedicated month to spotlight the incredible people who make social care what it is. Now in its fifth year, the campaign encourages organisations, teams, and individuals to “shout a little bit louder” about the skill, compassion, and commitment of the social care workforce.
At its heart, Celebrating Social Care is about recognising the people who help others live fulfilling, independent lives every single day. Care professionals are highly skilled, passionate, and hardworking. Without them, many individuals would not have the opportunity to thrive or stay connected in their communities. April gives us all a chance to pause, appreciate, and celebrate their impact, both the big milestones and the everyday moments that matter.

Throughout April, we will be joining Skills for Care in celebrating the sector in a variety of ways. You will see us sharing blogs that highlight the impact of social care, releasing fresh case studies from our inspiring care apprentices, celebrating the achievements of our learners and employers, and shining a spotlight on our incredible care specialist Personal Tutors who support learners every step of the way. We will be shouting about social care across our channels all month long, helping to raise awareness and celebrate the people at the heart of the sector.
